Good Afternoon,
So one of the craziest things I've noticed in groups that call themselves Militia is this, they all seem to be training as if their small squad will be the last surviving unit taking on the whole world.
So let's talk about productive training.
Productive Training:
Identify the threat - If the threat is a hurricane, then you wouldn't first grab your guns, you'd reinforce your windows, tape x's to keep the glass from shattering, grab food and drinks from the store
in the event your power goes out, etc. So as a person in a Militia, a tyrannical Government shouldn't be the only thing you plan for, or fear. The fact is, our Government isn't as smart as people credit them to be,
and some of their moves, while possibly tyrannical or unconstitutional, it is being done out of stupidity and fear. So the idea that they can logistically or mentally consider turning on their own people in a planned and tactical fashion is wrong.
Casing point, "The Civil War". Some nations went with it, while others simply succeeded and fought against the rest who stayed with the Union.
Other threats can be a Systematic breakdown of Society, like what we have seen in many democratic cities, the idea that the rule of law no longer applies. While the Governments stupidity helped lead to this, I wouldn't
go as far as saying it was planned this way.
Rally - If we must abandon our homes and head into the hills to regroup and brainstorm strategies , then we have to have a place that has been pre planned. Now, the fact that it's preplanned means, someone could talk, so even when there
you can't be off guard. The rally up is the most important because, you don't rally up before you get to the spot, people actually should split up and meet at the spot separately. I'd also take attendance and assign a Fire Guard duty roster.
These are the first things the Militia should train for. These are 2 very important things to go over, what you don't do is grab your gun and run into an already intense situation.
Side note: Not calling them out by name, but a certain Militia that took place in a Documentary a few years ago showed me one thing, Militias are no where near prepared to stop a gas station robbery much less and armed Military force.
If you do want to make a video about your Militia, here is some advice.
Uniformity - Wear the same shit, don't have 30 different variations of Camo, maybe no camo at all. Also not everyone should be talking to the Camera.
Weapon safety - Maybe while you're talking into the camera and telling them everything about you and you friends next to you violating every rule of operational security, don't also point your muzzle at everyone in your group.
More Militia will perish due to friendly fire and accidental discharges than to an unknown enemy.
Operational Security (OPSEC) - Never film your training locations or rendezvous points don't even talk about them, or what you are training on, look up how we took out most of ISIS, we simply looked at all their pictures.
GO BE COOL SOMEWHERE ELSE - If you are doing this to look cool, do us all a favor and just stay home. I have seen more accidents and issues out of people who just want to look cool and are only seeking validation. That will
not work.
Organization - Establish a Ranking Structure, and, a chain of command.
Compartmentalize - Don't try to do everything, or you won't accomplish anything.
There are more things to do, but these need to be mastered 1st.
So, who am I to delve out this advice, well, let's just say, I'm Combat veteran, and we know a thing or two, because we've seen a thing or two! I stole that line off Farmers insurance
