Everyone:
It may not come as a surprise that some of the young men that we
have trained within the Arizona Militia have gone on to other
endeavors, including Active Duty in the regular federal forces.
One of those young men sent me the following one-sentence email
today, which I am going to share with all of you:
"Your teams need to go RED status."
That was the entire message. Since I know him, and since he and I
had previously discussed the exact wording he would use and under
which circumstances he was to send me that message, I know to take
it seriously.
Very, VERY seriously is how we should ALL consider those words.
No, I will not divulge which branch of service, nor which unit this
young man serves with, but rest assured, he is most certainly NOT
working a desk job, fixing widgets, or flipping burgers somewhere.
This young man is a Warrior.
This is from a young Warrior whom I have personally trained, and
who was considered something of a "natural", which explains why he
eventually chose the profession of arms. Before he left Arizona
for federal military service, he was chosen as the Commander for
one of our Field Training Exercises. That would have been quite an
accomplishment for *anyone* within the Arizona Militia, much less
for someone of his tender years at that time.
He has since gone on to prove himself in combat, with multiple
deployments under his belt.
This young Warrior has never, ever exaggerated a report or blown a
situation out of proportion. He has been a rock-steady trooper,
someone that we could always count on, for several years now. I
believe that he knows what he is talking about.
The time is coming very shortly, everyone. Lock and Load, top off
your magazines, move your families to safety, and get ready for the
fight of your lives.
This is NOT A DRILL. The feces are about to impact the oscillating
ventilator, so you had better be standing in the right location
when that happens.
God Save our Republic. I am certain that I will see all of you on
the other side of this, one way or another.
